This policy explains how Virginia Laser Specialists ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit virginialaserspecialists.com, contact us, book an appointment or sign up for our emails. It does not cover your treatment records, which are kept separately and are never used for marketing.

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the treatment you are interested in, your preferred contact method and your message. We use it only to reply to you.
• Email sign up: your email address, where you signed up and when, so we can send occasional specials and care tips and prove your consent.
• Key holder application: your name, contact details, social profile and the details you choose to share, to review your application.

Please do not send medical history through our website forms. We will discuss your health privately at your consultation.

Booking through Vagaro

Online booking is provided by Vagaro. When you book, you give your details to Vagaro, and Vagaro's own privacy policy applies to that information. After a booking, Vagaro may return you to a confirmation page on our site; that page does not receive your name, contact details or the treatment you booked.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics and cookies: we may use Google Analytics and similar tools to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and collect information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you visit.
• How you found us: if you arrive from an advertisement or a link with campaign details, we store those details (for example an ad click identifier or campaign name) with any form you submit, so we know which advertising works. This is kept on your device for up to 30 days.
• Referral links: if you arrive through one of our key holders' links, we remember their code for up to 30 days so we can thank them. They never see your name or details.

Advertising partners

We may advertise with Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and their tags may be placed on our site to measure whether an advertisement led to a booking or an inquiry. We do not send your name, email address or phone number to advertising platforms, in plain or hashed form, and we do not tell them which treatment you are interested in.

You can control ad personalization in your Google ad settings and your Meta ad preferences.

Phone calls

Visitors who arrive from a Google advertisement may see a Google forwarding number that connects to our office line, so we can tell how many calls an advertisement produced. Google records call details such as the time, duration and area code; the call itself is not recorded by this website.

Email

Our emails are sent through Resend, which processes your email address on our behalf. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests right away. You can also unsubscribe here.

Text messages

If we offer text messages, we will only send them with your express consent, and you can reply STOP at any time. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Financing

Financing is offered by Cherry. If you apply, you do so on Cherry's website and Cherry's privacy policy applies.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiries and email sign ups for as long as they are useful to respond to you and to keep a record of your consent, and we keep a record of unsubscribe requests so we never email you again against your wishes.

Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly market to anyone under 18.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have given us through this website by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
